As you can see, writing blog posts for your target audience that spark interest is the key to generating more conversions and sales.    So, how do we come up with such interesting blog ideas? This can be done by performing market research on the target audience properly and get to know their current interests and what type of content they’re consuming the most.

There’s no better place than Facebook to begin that research. Here’s why.

Step 1: Identify Your Target Audience

First you need to identify your target audience to create more targeted blog posts.  You can start the process by establish a buyer persona, a detailed profile of the ideal customer you want to target through your content. Next, based on your buyer persona, you can narrow your search in Audience Insights using the right filters.

 

For instance, if your ideal customer is a woman who’s planning a wedding, then you can use the Relationship Status filter in Audience Insights to search the target audience based on how long that person has been married. Of course, this is not the best way to find the right information about your audience since you’ll still be guessing your customer interests and demographics through that process. Hence, it is vital to grow an email marketing list to collect leads, or you can install a Facebook Pixel on your website first.  We’ll get into that in the next step.

 

Step 2: Create a Custom Audience

Facebook recommends that you use your email list to create a custom audience. By using this method, you can analyse an audience who has already shown interest in your business.

To perform this, you just need to download your email list as a CSV file and upload it to Audience Insights.  Once you upload your email list, Facebook will compare the emails with its user base to locate the Facebook profiles of your leads to create a custom audience. Another method to create a custom audience is by using a Facebook Pixel.

This is a conversion tracking tool that you can integrate on your website to track your visitors. Next, you can generate a custom audience using the data gathered from your website visitors.

As you can imagine, using a Facebook Pixel takes a while to gather data. Therefore, the most effective way to create a custom audience is by using your email list.

 

Step 3: Gather Insights

Once you’ve created a custom audience, you can start analysing the audience through Audience Insights. Go to Audience Insights and choose your new custom audience from the Custom Audience tab on the left-hand side panel.

You can narrow the results using the various advanced filters. For instance, you can narrow your audience based on interests like people who are interested in dating or weddings.   Next, you can enhance the search further based on job titles and lifestyle as well.  Let’s imagine that you own a business promoting wedding catering services and you’re targeting women aged 24 and above who became engaged recently and are interested in weddings.

Once you’ve applied all the necessary filters, you may click on the “Page Likes” tab to view what type of pages your target audience most recently liked.

In this example, your audience seems to be big fans of the SILKYGIRL website, which specializes in Cosmetics.

We now know that your target audience is interested in beauty & cosmetics stuff, so that would be a good topic category for your blog posts.

 

 

Step 4: Find the Right Topics

The next step is to craft a blog post title using the topic you’ve discovered through Facebook Insights. You can do this using Quora, a platform filled with questions posted by many different types of people. On Quora, search for your topic. Following the same example, let’s search for “cosmetics”.

As you can see in the results, people are interested in skincare and anti-aging.  You can use these questions to craft an effective blog post title like “5 Hottest Anti-Aging Moisturizer Brands for Ladies in 2019”.

 

Step 5: Test Your Titles

Blog post title optimization is very important in the sense that it helps to determine how much traffic you can attract to your blog.  First impression counts! Because people will read and determine whether your title is deemed attractive enough to visit your blog.

You may consider using CoSchedule Headline Analyzer to test and analyse your blog post titles for effectiveness and Search Engine Optimization (SEO).

Do you ever wish to watch movie and chat with your Facebook friend at a same time?

Your dream has come true.  How? A Hollywood studio and a social networking have teamed up to entertain the movie lovers by renting films through online. Yes, it’s true. Warner Bros. studio is a first Hollywood studio to offer movie rental through Facebook.

On Tuesday 8th of March 2011, Warner Bros. announced it will allow Facebook users to rent and watch movies in browser. How it works? For 30 Facebook credits or $3, users can rent movies through their Facebook account for 48 hours. The most interesting part is while they are watching movie; viewers will have full Facebook functionality where they can post comments on the movie, chat with their friends and also can update their status.

The honor as the first movie is given to the famous movie “The Dark Knight”. This was one of my favorite movies as I couldn’t forget the character “The Joker” acted by Heath Ledger. I still remember the lies The Joker will tell to the victims about his torn mouth.

Starting on Tuesday, the Facebook users in United States can start to click “LIKE” the official page of “The Dark Knight” and can “rent” the movie. They will have the full control to watch it in full screen, minimized, paused and resumed simply by logging back to Facebook within the 48 hours. I can’t wait to watch it in Facebook but….

At the moment the online movie rental service on Facebook only available in the United States. We just can hope there will be a good outcome and Warner Bros. can expand to other countries and with lots of more movies.

This is a certainly a major twist in the movie streaming industrial landscape.

Oreo Tries To Set Guinness Record for Facebook Likes

“Twist….. Lick….. Dunk……” (With a class of milk aside)

Do you what this phrase is about?  Exactly. I’m talking about the Oreo biscuit. I want to share some interesting facts with you.

On 15th of February 2011 the Oreo company wants to establish a new Guinness Worlds Records entry for most Facebook likes. The goal was 45,000 likes within a day. The Oreo started at 9pm asking the fans to set the ‘likes’ the following post :  “Like’ this post to join other Oreo fans around the world in setting a Guinness World Record for most ‘likes’ to a post in 24 hours. Oreo is the world’s favorite cookie, and with your help, it will be the most ‘liked.”

However, after few hours the Rapper Lil Wayne challenge the Oreo biscuit by announcing to the world that he is also going after the Guinness Worlds Records for most Facebook likes in 24 hours.

So what is the result? Who win the battle? The result is Lil Wayne. After the 24 hours, Oreo only had 114,619 likes meanwhile Lil Wayne had 588,243 likes. It must be quite disappointing for the Oreo fans hence we have to congrats OREO. Because it was honored as the first brand to attempt and set the Guinness World Records for the “Most ‘likes’ on a Facebook post in 24 hours.”  It has inspired others to create or break the World Record including me. We could think of something different which others have not been thought and try to create a Guinness World Record. Who knows? One day my name or yours can be in the book.

Do you know that Oreo was introduced in 1912?  And it is almost has been 100 years in the market hence still in the leading track. Oreo sandwich cookie is American’s most popular cookie. Besides that, approximately 20.5million cookies are eaten every day by the world consumers.  Do you ever count how many flowers are stamped on an Oreo cookie when you are eating it? Each side of the cookie has twelve flowers and each flower has four pedals. Along the packing slogan is “Milk’s favorite cookies” and it’s true.  Don’t you want to be a ‘dunker’?
